On Friday 8th of April, we closed the account in the school business office. We decided, rather than giving the money to the Red Cross via the Japanese Embassy, we should directly wire the money to the Red Cross. We typed an official letter informing the Japanese Embassy of how much we raised and gave them the letter on Friday. The amount in the business office totalled approximately Rs. 199,000, far more than we expected, so we were extremely happy about that. We really hope that the money can be put to good use and help all of the victims suffering from this massive earthquake.
